Gavin Watkinson - Owner

The idea for Lux started at the end of 2020. The whole country was in Lockdown due to the Coronavirus pandemic and unfortunately Gavin's Dad was unwell and admitted to hospital. Sadly he passed away in October 2020 and we were left devastated.

Gavin then decided that life was too short and decided to follow his dream of being his own boss. That is when the idea of Lux was born. After months of hard work, dedication and countless hours of renovations, what started as a horse trailer was converted into a mobile bar.

Gavin has been married for 14 years to his wife Lana and they live with their 2 dogs in Chesterfield, Derbyshire. Gavin has worked full time as a Manager in a high street store for many years and Lana has just gained her Degree to become an Assistant Practitioner at the local hospital.

Whilst Gavin is the face of Lux, and will be seen at events, Lana works behind the scenes completing the admin and social media elements.
